The Textbook Reserves Collection for the School of Health Professions (SHP) is a collection of eBooks from the Research Medical Library (RML) for SHP students.  A complete list of textbooks for the most current term is provided on this page below, or you can search for a textbook using the search box provided.


 

 

Please note, while numerous textbooks are included in this collection, not ALL required course textbooks are available.  Other arrangements must be made by the student for textbooks not available from the Library.  

Why don't we have a textbook? 

Many commercially available e-books are not available for purchase by libraries.  This is generally true for materials produced by most textbook publishing houses.

Access, Download, and Print eBooks

  1. Browse the textbook lists and click on a book title

  2. You will be directed to the Remote Access screen.  Enter your MD Anderson MyID - the same username/password used for Canvas.

  3. You will be redirected to the eBook and it will open in one of several platforms.  Most platforms allow users to download and/or print a book chapter at a time. Click on the thumbnails below for detailed instructions on how to view, download, and/or print a book/book chapter in a particular platform.
