Get Email Alerts

Create an Email Alert

  • Search your topic
  • Click on Create Alert on the left
  • the "Cited by" link at the bottom
  • Enter your email 

Get an Email Alert when a Particular Article is Cited

  • Search for the title
  • Click on the "Cited by" link at the bottom
  • Click on the envelope icon on the left

Get an Email Alert when any of your Articles are Cited

  • Create a Google Scholar Profile
  • Go to the homepage with your photo
  • Click "Follow" next to your name
  • Select "New citations to my articles"
  • Click "Done"

Get an Email Alert when your Colleagues Publish New Articles  

  • Search your colleague's name   [author:s-hawking],
    • If they've set up a Scholar profile, click on it
      • Click the "Follow" button next to their name
      • Select "New articles by this author"
    • If they don't have a Scholar profile, click on the envelope on the left.
    • If they have a common name you can topical keywords or co-authors to limit results
