Author h-index

Google Scholar calculates an h-Index for authors who've set up a User Profile. These are usually higher than the h-Indexes you would find in Scopus or Web of Science.

To Find Author H-Indexes

  • Type in an author's name
  • Click on their User Profile      
  • Example: J Jack Lee

To Create your Google Scholar User Profile

  • Log into Google Scholar with your Gmail account. 
  • Select "My Profile"  and add affiliation and email address
  • Select your publications from the list you're shown
